Naiti Theatre Group is a non-profit arts and performance organization founded in India in 2004 and expanded to Canada in 2011. It was founded to challenge social injustices and give voice to untold stories, using theatre as a way to explore important social issues while preserving South Asian cultures and traditions. With a passionate team of actors, writers, singers, and volunteers, Naiti Theatre Group creates performances that connect with audiences, promote equality, and empower individuals. The organization also supports rising talent through hands-on workshops in acting, production, technical skills, and writing, helping members build confidence, develop their skills, and find their specialty in theatre.
Our organization aims to create meaningful theatre for the community while supporting and training actors, writers, and directors. It strives to preserve culture and tell real-life stories through drama, educate individuals on empowering themselves, and encourage new and original plays. By making theatre open and accessible to everyone and actively involving youth and the community in the arts, the organization works to close generational differences and gaps through storytelling, all while running honestly, responsibly, and sustainably.

Balraj Pandit’s influence is woven into the very fabric of our group. His dedication to the art of theatre and his commitment to using it as a medium for social change continue to inspire us. At Naiti Theatre Group, we pay homage to his enduring legacy by striving to live up to the artistic standards he set.
Prabhjit Saini, the driving force behind Naiti Theatre Group, has a rich academic background that informs our creative journey. With advanced degrees in Sociology and Punjabi, Prabhjit possesses a profound understanding of human societies and cultures. This knowledge serves as the cornerstone of our theatrical expressions, enriching the narratives and messages we convey through our performances.
